Has anyone else taken notice of the Evolution of Brandon?
In the early days he was an awkward, dirty, pothead kind of guy, but had a certain essence about him that you couldn't help but like.
When the S.C.I.E.N.C.E. era rolled around, he became more opinionated and matured a bit. We saw his funky, hippie side.
Make Yourself was, I believe, Brandon's time of becoming and finding himself. The band's music evolved as well. Kind of like, I am man, hear me roar.
Morning View, to me, was a time where we saw Brandon's mellow, more emotional side. The DVD showed us that Brandon joked around a lot, he was still young and still having fun.
A Crow Left of the Murder was the time when Brandon started to mature. He became more reserved when speaking, but more opinionated and political in his lyrics.
Now, in the midst of the Light Grenades era, I have noticed that Brandon is more quiet and reserved than ever before. We rarely see him joking and being carefree and young. Because, well, he isn't. He is getting older and wiser.
We see less smiles, for some reason.
He is growing old, wise, and now finding himself. He is an artist, a writer, and an intellectual being.
It is evident in live shows as well. Brandon used to interact with the crowd. He would chat with his audience in between songs, but now, we hear a simple "Cheers" or "Thank you." He says less, but sometimes, less is more.
Now, I am not saying the evolution of Brandon is negative in any sort of way, but I believe it is there. He is growing and changing, and change, in one way or another, brings new light and goodness.

I think Brandon has changed for the better. As much as I would like to see him break out of his shell again, I think that the more mature, down to earth Brandon is more concentrated on the music and making it great.

total noticable evolution. and i woudl sure hope so. being in the public eye has made all of them ecspeically brandon open to and suseptible to critique about everything from his hair to his smell to his word choices. i sure as hell wouldn't want to be the same and hope i would change and grow up over a ten year span!!
he is also a very aware adn spiritual person who is trying to be as honest with himself and the world by staying true and honest to his soul and his evolution as a human being. staying grounded and open is what makes him so kick-ass in the first place.

For those of you who know, and those of you who don't, Brandon has been growing out somewhat of a 'stache lately. I think he shaves it occasionally, but with his haircut he's sporting nowadays, a more "older" look, he's starting to look alot like Chuck, his dad. (Little fun fact in case anyone didn't know.)

Yeah, he tends to find one or two things that he loves and doesn't let go. It's cool though, the man needs some stability in his life.
He is quite the snappy dresser, though.

Indeed he is. He always has been IMO. He wasn't as "stylish" back in MY/MV days, but I still thought he was a pretty good looking guy. I'm a guy and I can admit that

 Brandon is becoming older, incubus is becoming older!.. is not just a musical evolution, all the songs that are written by brandon show us a lot of reflective experiences, and that is something that me, as a fan, appreciate a lot!..
I thank incubus for given me that opportunity to have an inside refelction about politix, love and people.

You can tell Brandon is aging, but he is aging nicely. A few gray hairs here and there, and quite a few lines in his smile..

In my opinion, 30 is the peak of attractiveness for a guy. All of my celebrity crushes (and I have quite a few of them haha) are all in their early thirties.. I think the youngest one is 28. It's probably a maturity level thing. I don't like it when people say Brandon's getting old, because he's not! He's getting oldER. (this is coming from an 18-year-old btw)
But yeah, He's definitely evolving for the better. I love how he's been making those art books lately. I have the second one, and as an aspiring artist, it's a great source of inspiration for me because the way he views the world is so interesting.
The mustache is ok, but I think he should bring back the "chin pubes" look from the Morning View days. That was hot.

interesting...i think it just has to do with his maturation as an artist and a person
just growing up basically i guess. maybe if there's a new dvd we'll see him like...behind the scenes ?
but i think all the guys have kind of gotten like this. but thats just IMO

Loved his Morning View look. Morning View Sessions? Wow. *drools* Absolutly loved his hair style then! Very sexy.
Mr. Boyd is pretty amazing.....Looks, voice, depth. Sends me thru the roof..
Altho Im not crazy about his look now. Still hot but, eh...
Oh well, now I can focus on the music and not be distracted by his hotness.
