Have you ever notice that in the S.C.I.E.N.C.E. album at the last part, alex katinuch and DJ Lyfe are marked with a circle?... could that be a sign?

Hmmmm. I'll have to go check that. When did you get the CD though, it's possible that they started putting that after both of them weren't members anymore.

Nvm then. I figured it was something to recognize that they weren't there anymore in the newer prints of the CD, but I guess not. Strange though, although the band tensions between Brandon and Dirk date back far before Dirk actually left, I don't think it was that far back.
Who knows, I guess Clean was written about Dirk. Supposedly, anyway.

Glass, was written about Dirk, I know, but I haven't heard that Clean was. It seems like some of the lyrics don't work: "Don't you dare come to bed with that ambiguous look in your eyes.." And the thing about breakfast in bed.. Where did you hear that from?

Lonnnnnnnnng time ago. Forget where. I know Glass was for sure, which is kinda funny because they performed it on the Morning View Sessions DVD and he seems to be very content with himself at the time.

I'm pretty sure he didn't until after he left. They didn't really release any feudal information about the band until the turmoil was gone.

I'm not sure if anyone knows this but DJ Lyfe posts (or used to) on the incubusonline forum, and can I say, he was a fucking asshole. (Are we aloud to swear on here?) He would just talk trash about the band and call Kilmore KilWhore. What a jerk. Nice beats, though.

I don't think Incubus would be existant anymore if Brandon wasn't around, bud. Him, Mike and Jose are pretty essential to the band. IMO, if any of them left like Dirk and Lyfe did, Incubus would probably have been done a while ago.

Yeah, a band can stand to lose a drummer or a bassist, but a lead singer, then it's just an entirely different band.

Yeah, Saosin kept going as Saosin, but generally when a band loses their singer, the name goes with it. It just generally isn't the same music. The guys from Saosin got lucky and wrote songs without vocals for a while, so just finding a singer after their first one left was a pretty easy adjustment.
