I was just reading some news about Incubus and read Simon Dawes is touring with them. You can read about it for yourself. Do any of you know of this band? i don't know of simon dawes but i'll for sure be checking him out. also the bravery is joining incubus for the second half i believe...

Great tour schedules in this board. Simon Dawes is an up-and-coming rock band from Malibu, California. It's good to hear that he's touring with Incubus.

For some reason, I don't really have a whole lot of respect for frontman-named bands. It just seems kind of selfish to me. Like...if Incubus were called Brandon Boyd. Or if Coheed and Cambria were called Claudio Sanchez. It just doesn't seem right. If you're going to be an artist and write your own music, make sure you are doing it all solo, or call your band something other than your name. Meh, I'm just kinda biased on that situation. ^^haha! i know what you mean! i have always thought about that and always have subconciously turned away from bands like that for some reason. ...i just doens't seem fair.! but i'm willing to give anythign a try once. so i'm not putting them down yet.

Im one of them that thinks that they are very stupid some of them but it grows on you after a while.

well, i don't know of them, but hopefully will if i'm able to go to the july 22 concert...which i'm dying to, literally---it'll kill me if i can't.
