anyone think that the line from smile lines, "im as useful as trying to put the pin back in the grenade" might have had any influence on incubus choosing title for "light grenades" album

Nah, I doubt it. I listened to an interview a while before LG came out and Brandon said they called it Light Grenades because it was a thought he had about anti-war tactics to settle disputes. Kinda like non-lethal riot control, only with peace and harmony. He said the Light Grenade was his idea of everything symbolizing what he thought the world needed instead of war. __________________ Please try to stay on topic. brandon really does have his head on straight, doesnt he? hes got a good philosophy on the world today, hes a good guy.

Offtopic: I really love that line. Its actully 'So, insecurities Are about as useful as trying To put the pin back in the grenade' I had it written on a bathroom tile in my old place... Love it.. But the acutal question, I agree with what thewillingwell says.
