Editing only a little while after posting?

Sometimes I can edit my post, sometimes I cant. I find it usually shortly after I post, I can, and then I can't after a little while. __________________ Please try to stay on topic. So far I have'nt encountered such problem. Hoping that it can be settled as soon as possible.

Yea, you're only allowed to edit for a certain period of time. After that, the edit feature is removed. Its for spam purposes.

Yeah, I'm naturally good at keeping up with my typos because I used to type papers and then have to spell check the hell out of it on word. So I figured, just try harder at keeping your mistakes minimal to begin with, and it would be easier to check later. Although word does it automatically, it's really rewarding at the end to have an error-free essay. __________________ Please try to stay on topic.
