Please try not to do this.

What I mean by "this" is posting two, three, four, or even more times in a row in a thread.  It's pretty easy to go up and edit your post if you forgot to put something in it.  I'm not sure the thread timer on editing, but I think it gives about 10-15 minutes leeway for you to go back and correct your post.  Therefore, there should be no reason to post twice or three times in a row within two or three minutes.

In contrast, if you happen to have a slow computer or something, and you accidentally post the same message twice or three times in a row, this is okay, please just edit your extra posts to say something like "whoops, double post, sorry," or something to that effect.  It at least shows you cared enough to apologize for your mistake and fix it.  It really takes only about 10 seconds.

ya, try not to do it unless you forget something and have to add it in another post...

You can still edit though.  That's pretty much the entire point.  It's in the top right corner of the brown stripes your name sits on.  It's just really pointless to post something like "I like Incubus..they're the best."  *NEW POST* "I haven't seen them yet." *NEW POST* "although I really want to."

It's just unnecessary.  Edit if you can.  If you can't edit, then whatever, it's understandable.  But it's no excuse if it's less than 5 minutes in between the two posts.

Thanks for reiterating this.  If I do see double posts, I try and delete them.  If I see frivolous posts, I try and delete as well.
