it was some shitty type, a small stupid one. I couldn't take my Canon with variety of lenses

lumien, when you take pictures at concerts, do you feel like it takes away from your experience at the show? Of course, it is awesome to be able to look back on the photos, but when I took my camera to an Incubus show a few years ago, I kind of felt like I missed part of it because I was focused on getting some awesome pictures.

I think in a way it does, because you're not fully paying attention to the music, but I think it's worth it to be able to look back on that experience and remember how awesome it was, even if you weren't fully engulfed in the music.

I agree. The pictures I took at one of the concerts are something I will cherish forever. I'll post them soon..

You know, I didn't miss the show at all as I just took a few pictures, not bothering if they were any good
And maybe when I'm old with alzheimer or whatever it'll be sweet to remember my first incubus show ever
